Hi TDAE Community,

We want to thank the members of our TDAE Salem community for your patience as we gathered additional information and consulted medical professionals about the right course of action in the current uncertain environment. As mentioned in the message earlier this week, we have reinforced our cleaning and disinfectant procedures to match what government and medical professionals are recommending. Despite necessary adaptations and adjustments, one thing will not change: Our mission! Our mission has been and will continue to be to empower you through exercise, nutrition, and recovery coaching and education. We are striving to protect and respect the safety and health of our families, our TDAE community (you), and all fellow humans as we evolve, adapt, and rise to the circumstances.

Based on these conversations, we are making the following adjustments to our service offerings to provide our members with the solutions that best meet your needs.

  1. Any member who wants to pause their membership under a medical freeze can do so immediately. Please email us at tdteam@tdathletesedge.com to request a freeze.

  2. For anyone who wants to continue their training program during this time while avoiding the gym, we recommend switching your membership (without penalty) to the TDAE Online Custom Coaching program. Details and pricing can be found here:  https://www.tdathletesedge.com/online

All Online Custom Coaching programs will be adaptable to any equipment you have available. Our coaches will even be offering 15-minute video or phone calls that serve as workout appointments. We will use these to help you to make any modifications, educate you on the current workout, or help you troubleshoot areas from a prior workout. If you need equipment for your workouts at home, we have equipment for you. Please view the bands and other basic equipment that you can purchase from us HERE. If you would like to purchase and schedule a pick up of any of our workout equipment, you can call or text us at 978.712.0260.

  3. While we are temporarily discontinuing our in-person custom coaching training program to encourage adequate social distancing, with the guidance of our medical advisors, we will begin temporarily offering a limited number of 60-minute 1-on-1 training sessions in-house. These sessions will not change the price of your plan and will be limited to no more than 3 clients + 3 coaches (Ryan, Matt, and Tim) per hour to ensure proper distancing and sufficient time for a thorough cleaning between sessions. Starting Monday (3/16), these sessions will be available on a first come, first served basis and you can view the coaches available for each session on Zen Planner effective immediately.

What you can do next:

  • Join our TDAE Salem Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/tdathletesedgeThis is where we are going to stay together and stay strong together

  • We need your help. For your friends & family who are stuck at home, please let them know about our Online Custom Coaching program, our upcoming TDAE At Home Bodyweight guide, and our Online Nutrition Coaching. All proceeds help to support our team during this difficult economic time. Don’t forget to invite them to sign up for our newsletter to learn about more at-home solutions coming soon.

  • Stay tuned - more video-based interactive training programs coming soon, including group sessions.

  • One last reminder. We are still accepting new members using a video evaluation approach and welcoming members into our temporary 1-on-1 training format. $100 referral credits are still in effect.

Please bear with us as we make real-time adjustments to our service offerings as we respond to rapidly changing information. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or feedback via our team phone line: 978.712.0260. Together we will rise to this challenge!

Sincerely,

Tim & the entire TDAE Team

Hi TDAE Community,

We at TD Athletes Edge continue to monitor the evolving situation and growing concern around Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and are following guidelines provided by the CDC to keep our members and team safe, and our spaces clean.

Here is what we are doing:

1. We have updated our cleaning protocols as described below to ensure a clean and safe environment.

2. After much careful consideration and research, we are suspending hand’s on adjustments and manual queues until further notice based on the CDC’s recommendation to avoid unnecessary physical touch.

3. We encourage any employees or members who are not feeling well to stay home.

We have a consistent and frequent facility disinfectant procedure carried out multiple times per day by staff and interns. All surfaces and objects in our gym are cleaned directly with a neutral, concentrated disinfectant cleaner that effectively cleans, deodorizes, and disinfects.

The Virucidal Activity List of this product is here: HIV-1 (AIDS Virus) • Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) • Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) • Herpes Simplex Type 1 • Herpes Simplex Type 2 • Avian Influenza A Virus • Human Coronavirus • SARS Associated Coronavirus

We ask that you help us in the process of keeping TDAE as clean and healthy as possible by always wiping all bench surfaces and mats after using. You can find multiple hand sanitizer stations and hand wipe stations throughout the facility. We encourage you to wash your hands prior to beginning and at the completion of your workouts.

Finally, we must prepare for the possibility of additional disruptions to our daily lives caused by the Coronavirus and respect that everyone needs to make the right decision for themselves and their family. For those who want to continue their training while avoiding public spaces, please ask about our Online Training options.

Our mission is your health and our goal is your safety. We will continually make adjustments to ensure that we are creating a safe and healthy environment for your training and we appreciate your participation in helping to protect our community.

The TDAE Team
