(Professional basketball player for Strasbourg, France A League; Summer leagues for Los Angeles Lakers and Sacremento Kings)
I have gone through a variety of workout programs over the years and none has been more beneficial as the one through TD Athletes Edge. The workouts specifically address my needs as a professional athlete and have paid dividends on the court.

When I got out of college…I went on to try to make an ABA basketball team and did the pool workouts with Tim. [Afterwards], you feel like you have worked out and it feels great. You go home and wake up the next day [with] no soreness. It [targets] muscles that you typically are not working when you are doing a typical workout. They are muscles that you can’t touch in a weight room and the resistance is against motions that you would do in a game…drop steps, spin moves, dribbling, rebounding among others.
I have gone through high school programs as well as college workout programs never getting close to the same results I achieved using Tim’s workout plan. I would heavily recommend it to any athlete trying to make themselves stronger, quicker and faster than they have ever been.

(Men’s Golf, Amateur Golfer in the Connecticut State Golf Association)
In the off-season leading up to 2007, I met with Tim DiFrancesco about taking my fitness to another level. He recommended me using the Hydroworx pool at his clinic to increase cardio-respiratory fitness, flexibility, and overall strength to improve my golf game.
The water provides a great deal of resistance against a normal swing pattern, which has helped me create more swing speed and power increasing sharper results. As I write this, I’m off one of my top finishes in my career in a major amateur championship. My scoring average this year is already down 3 full strokes, and I’m having a career year.
Cassie Loftus
(Captain, Women’s Varsity Basketball, Saint Anselm College)
As a college athlete and more specifically a women’s basketball player my body took a toll from the intense workout regiments, lifts, and on the court sessions in my three-year experience. Now a senior I have reached the culmination of my career, and thanks to TD Athletes Edge aquatic conditioning program I have been able to maintain an optimum level of physical fitness needed for my final season. Suffering from chronic shin splints, I tried just about every physical therapy and alternate training program that would allow me to stay in shape and improve my basketball skills. Even through hard work and dedication with these methods nothing compared to the results I got from TD Athletes Edge. The [TDAE] basketball specific workout allowed me to do the same things my teammates were doing on and off the court in preparation for our season, but without the excessive pounding and damage that on-land plyometric workouts, sprinting sessions, and basketball skill lessons can cause. The workouts were geared towards building on my personal strengths and improving on my weaknesses. Tim’s workouts were just what I needed as a player in terms of athleticism, endurance, and especially confidence. TD Athletes Edge gave me the opportunity to compete at a high level despite an injury that can significantly inhibit an athlete’s ability to perform. TD Athletes Edge is not just for the injured athlete though; it’s for anyone who is committed becoming a better all-around competitor.

With the weight room, you can work on plyometrics and things like overall explosiveness but, when it comes down to this workout…we can actually hold a basketball and have resistance…which is something that you can’t get in the weight room. You can do (these motions) on land but, you don’t have the resistance so you are not getting the same workout. You are going to get better, you are going to get faster, but this speeds up that process. You are having constant resistance all the time so when you do get on land, without water, without resistance, it’s easy!

They have developed a cutting-edge training method that our players love. I am always looking for new ways to enhance our player development program, and I believe that the TD Athletes Edge Aquatic Training Program is a great supplement to any strength and conditioning program.
Chris Leazier
(Assistant Coach, Bakersfield Jam, NBA D-League; Former Head Coach, Women’s Varsity Basketball, Saint Anselm College)
When I inherited the women’s basketball program at Saint Anselm College, our senior captain was suffering from a chronic case of shin splints. Her commitment to being at a peak fitness level was severely hampered by her inability to tolerate the pounding of our summer strength and conditioning program. When our player discovered Tim DiFrancesco and the TD Athletes Edge aquatic conditioning program, her fitness level took an immediate leap forward. Tim DiFrancesco has an innovative and cutting edge approach to complete conditioning that can make a significant impact on your program.

When I was a college student, I fell victim to that dreadful yet acceptable path called LAZINESS. Working out and staying active simply weren’t on my to-do-list and rarely reached the front burner. After I graduated, I was determined to change. While at a routine physical, I told my doctor that I was just looking to get back into shape and that I needed a starting point. He told me to call Tim (DiFrancesco) at TD Athletes Edge. On the very first day at TDAE, my weaknesses were identified and soon, a customized plan had been created! I knew this place was for me. Tim and his highly qualified staff SHOW you how to get results. Their program is simple: if you put the time and effort in, you get amazing results! My body is in better shape now than it ever has been. The TDAE staff got me back into the shape I wanted and simultaneously fixed a hidden hip flexor injury that I never noticed before. I wholeheartedly recommend this program to any person of ANY age. You will not get the same attention from a personal trainer at a gym.
