FAQs

What makes TDAE different from a traditional gym?

The program begins with a comprehensive assessment & evaluation for each client in order to identify weaknesses or limitations that could cause injury while training. Once these issues are cleared, performance enhancement is able to be optimally achieved through our systematic approach.

What format of training should I expect?

The initial sessions are used for to conduct an evaluation and educate you on the system. Each individual is appropriately progressed along our systematic strength training program based on individual needs and progression in a semi-private format.

Is this physical therapy? Working out? Strength & conditioning?

We combine the backgrounds and training of our accomplished staff to create a hybrid approach to innovative performance training.

How frequently should I train with TDAE?

TDAE offers clients programs which meet 1, 2, 3, or 4 days per week. Of course, the more frequently we train together, the more effectively you will progress.

What if I am not a competitive athlete?

Anybody can benefit from our system. We work with athletes in middle school to high school to college to semi-pro to professional levels alongside weekend warriors; recognizing the individual needs and goals of each group.

Can TDAE help with nutrition?

Fundamental nutrition guidance is essential for reaching your performance goals. TDAE's knowledgeable staff can help you analyze your eating habits and help you to craft an eating strategy that optimizes your performance training.

You keep referring to “movement patterns” and “corrective exercises”, what do you mean by that?

Ideal movement patterns refer to how the musculoskeletal system was meant to move efficiently and effectively in a manner to sustain stresses to the body; such as sport and competition.

Corrective exercises refer to a portion of our performance training that discourages the client’s body from moving with inefficient patterns. Inefficient movement patterns can and often will lead to unnecessary non-contact injuries and our corrective exercises will “re-teach” our client’s body to move in a more ideal pattern.
