An Innovative Approach to Sport-Specific Aquatic Training! The TDAE Aquatic Training Program channels the dynamic properties of water in an effort to provide athletes with consistent, “functional resistance”. Doctor of physical therapy Tim DiFrancesco uses this term to describe the resistance that athletes encounter training in water as they perform highly sport-specific motions in the pool.
The TDAE Aquatic Training Program allows athletes to be in the water while performing the same explosive motions that they do on the court, field or track with minimal impact on their body and joints while working against the functional resistance. This cannot be achieved in any other training environment.
The foundation of the TDAE Aquatic Training Program is based on DiFrancesco’s desire to provide individuals with innovative sport-specific training, and his commitment to helping athletes and teams gain the edge that they need to reach the next level.
